Feeling Stuck?

At some point or another, most of us have felt like we were stuck, stagnant, unable to move out of our current situation or circumstance. And this could happen at any age, although I don’t believe that you’re usually truly cognizant of this “feeling” until you’re out of your 20’s. I’m just saying. I loved my 20’s, enjoyed myself and wouldn’t change what I experienced or what I learned during that Long period of time that seemed to last forever.

But for those of us who are in our 40’s or older, think back at that time and let’s be honest. Don’t you find that your perspective has changed quite a bit? And perhaps you now have clarity on certain issues where you didn’t even think you really needed it! Gotta love the 20’s!

But I digress. My point is, if you find yourself feeling stuck, you gotta tell yourself that this is merely a “feeling” and not a fact. Although there are some situations you may find yourself in where you don’t have the means to make a change at that point in time, oftentimes it’s a matter of altering your perspective or changing the way you’ve been doing things.

Because if we’re being real, sometimes how we’ve chosen to handle things just doesn’t work! Sometimes, we are the reason why we’re in the predicament we find ourselves in! Yep, that means that you need to do periodic reality checks on yourself and re-evaluate how you respond to life and all the lovely chaos that it brings.

Just make sure that you’re doing everything that you need to do on your end, and if and when you feel that “stuck” sensation creeping up on you, take a deep breath and do what needs to be done.
